Dear Guests,

Thank you for visiting my Weizzar Website. This site is dedicated to all seekers of truth. In the Burmese language, Knowledge is called "weizzar" and Ignorance is called "aweizzar". Other scholars write weizzar as "vija" following the tradition of the Indian scholars. Thus they write ignorance as 'avija". I have tried to use the Burmese pronunciation and my spelling reflects this pronunciation.

In the noble eightfold path that was preached by Gautama Buddha, the All Knowing One, he has explained that the path to true knowledge and hence to truth lies in the path of eight steps. When these steps are grouped together we get the following:

   1. Sila or Conduct

    2. Samadhi or Concentration

    3. Pyinna or Knowledge.

So when  I say "weizzar", I refer to the origial teaching of the Buddha which is knowledge. This is the knowledge of the true nature of "nama" and "rupa" which leads one ultimately to Nivarna - the end of suffering. Nivarna literally means "ni" absence of and "varna" lust.
